Coalescers for the separation of water from process streams, used for example in the production of fuels or in the maintenance of oils. Coalescers can also be equipped with second stage water-repellent membranes for best separation performance.
With the coalescing plates used, the separation is significantly improved compared to sedimentation phase separators. Coalescing plate separators can therefore be built in a particularly compact design, also available as pressure vessels.
